Fantastic experience, we'll be back soon. We found this place after reading an article in Gambero Rosso that highlighted the authenticity of its traditional Japanese dishes. My girlfriend is Japanese, so we immediately decided to book. She really misses Japanese cuisine in Italy; the usual all-you-can-eat restaurants aren't to her liking. We sampled traditional Japanese cuisine in Rome—the dishes are excellent, the flavors authentic, and the attention to detail is incredible. We spent a pleasant evening with friends; I'd call it an experience more than just a dinner. Koû Koû has ​​a story to tell; the owner's passion overwhelmed us, and we can't wait to return to try new dishes. The ramen was delicious; my favorite was the tonkatsu. The cheesecake enchanted us; we were speechless! Incredible value for money; my girlfriend is thrilled to have found a real Japanese restaurant in Rome. See you soon ❤️

DE LI ZIO SO. True traditional Japanese cuisine. If you are a sushi lover, this place is not for you. Delicious dishes. I don't know if there is something similar in Rome, but even if there was, I will continue to go to Kou Kou. And Mrs. Paola's French patisserie? Sublime! She is the true hostess, explaining the dishes and the pairings to taste them. Congratulations!

A truly excellent restaurant! The Japanese cuisine is meticulously prepared, and the dishes are always fresh and delicious. The French pastries are also a wonderful surprise: refined and delicious desserts, prepared by the very kind Paola, who is always attentive and welcoming. It was my first time at koukou, and I'd love to go back. I'd never tried the flavors I'd tasted in their dishes, and my Japanese friend confirmed that they're truly authentic Japanese cuisine. Plus, the desserts are super delicious! You should know that they have a set menu for lunch, while dinner is à la carte.

Kou Kou is a place that makes you feel like you are in Japan but at the same time at home. The owners are wonderful souls and this can be felt in their dishes and desserts. We travel a long distance just to go to them because this place is one of our happiness in life! The dishes always change and always have fresh and seasonal ingredients. I've been coming here since it opened, and I continue to return regularly because every visit is an extraordinary experience. Chef Wataru's cuisine is simply exceptional. And then there are Paola's desserts... a true masterpiece! Her creations are not only beautiful to look at, but also incredibly refined in flavor. Each dessert tells a story, a perfect blend of Japanese delicacy and French creativity! I highly recommend it!

Small, cozy and intimate place, where the guys manage to put you at ease right away. Menu with a wide choice with the addition of the dishes of the day proposed by the chef. Delicious dishes, all freshly prepared, ramen, seared tuna and spectacular fried chicken! See you soon!

Finally, a place where you can enjoy authentic, different Japanese cuisine, not the usual, crappy sushi and rolls. It offers a variety of dishes made with top-quality ingredients, and small customizations are available upon request to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The service is attentive, though a little slow, but only because everything is made fresh and the quality is evident. Truly excellent! We didn't get to try the desserts (French pastries), which look fantastic, but we'll leave that for another evening.
